Arriving in Tehran in the morning. Nadiatrip’s tour director welcomes you at Imam Khomeini International Airport.

Today, we have a great and very complete itinerary to know about capital city. First we drive to city center, we will visit (UNESCO WHS) Golestan Palace, the first royal building in the capital city Tehran. This palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying the successful integration of earlier Persian crafts and architecture with western influences. palace is one of the oldest groups of buildings in Tehran, become the seat of government of Qajar family, which came into power in 1779 and made Tehran the capital of the country.

 

National Museum (archaeological), the largest museum in the country. We are walking along the ancient Persian history.

 

enjoy by visiting Treasury of National Jewels Museum. (or alternatively visit Glass and Ceramic Museum) Here is the most dazzling collection of gemstones and jewelry, which are very famous in the world.

The National Jewelry Treasury is housed within the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the heart of the City of Tehran.  It is Open during Saturday to Tuesday, 14.00 - 16.30.
Closed on Wednesdays, weekends and Public and Bank Holidays.

The Glass & Ceramics Museum is, like many of other exhibitions, small but perfectly formed. The galleries walk you chronologically through the ages, with detailed.
This museum is dedicated to history of glass and ceramic in Iran. You can see glass made objects and ceramics since 2000 B.C. to 1900 A.C. It is really unique.

Milad Tower, is a multi-purpose tower in Tehran. It is the sixth-tallest tower .it is the new symbol of modern Tehran.it helps you to have total viewpoint about the whole city and its vast area.

Then walking through The Tabi'at Bridge (nature bridge) which is the largest pedestrian overpass in Tehran. The 270-metre bridge connects two public parks.

Prepare yourself for a perfect day by mountain climbing. Early morning transfers to Darband valley in northern part of Tehran.
Trekking to Shirpala hut at the foot of Tochal summit .it takes approximately 3 hours trekking in a very beautiful valley. after getting the Shirpala hut, you can move up the mountain and walk around to intent acclimatization.

Early morning summiting Mount Tochal. It takes about 4 hours for trekking. there are Two ways for returning; the same as ascent, or descending from the station 7 to the station 5-2-1 and arriving in Velenjak area (4-5 hours). Alternatively, by cable car from station 7 to Velenjak area & Tochal sky line.

Tochal is very special and exclusive place to meet Iranian real life. There is very famous health road to move up the mountain and see the Tehran sky line at the top, chat with original Tehran’s people.

Tochal is the closest peak to Tehran which has always attracted many athletes, mountain-climbers, tourists, and even politicians. it is also one of the most famous ski resorts in both Iran and the entire Middle East with a history of having hosted a number of international snowboarding competitions. Day 4: Damavand Base Camp (3020 m)– Damavand Hut from southern route (4200 m)-Mountain Climbing

Early in the morning, we are departing from Tehran for (Rineh or Polour) Be ready for a perfect day by mountain climbing. (it takes 2 hours) then from (Rineh or Polour) we have another transfer to Goosfand Sara via the southern route of (Rineh or Polour) at the height of 3020 meters by 4WD or Sedan (as per request) it takes 45 minutes. You will climb with the Mountaineering guide to Bargahe Sevom (3rd Court) at the height of 4200 meters to stay there for acclimatization.

After getting more accustomed to a new climate & to new conditions, the baggage already was carried by mules from Goosfand Sara (2nd camping) to Bargahe Sevom (3rd Court) which is at the height of 4200 meters. Climbing up 300 meters for acclimatization and returning to the shelter.

One extra day for acclimatization is recommended.

We slept well last night. Today we have enough time for acclimatization and taking nice memorable pictures and enjoying the beautiful nature. After having breakfast, we will start climbing up slowly to about 4800 m altitude. We have rest on the way up. Finally, descent to hut slowly.

Summiting the peak of Mount Damavand (top of Iran) with a height of 5671 meters. Descending to Bargahe Sevom (3rd Court) and continuing to Dorahi (two ways) to meet your tour guide and driver with 4WD or Sedan (as per request).

Note: You can also stay one more day for resting in Bargahe Sevom (3rd Court), instead of overnight in Rineh, in case of inquiry in advance before departure.

In the morning, we visit Saad Abad palace in the Northern part of Tehran. This palace has a unique garden and 18 palaces dating back to 19th century where once been Summer houses of Qajar and Pahlavi kings.

Tajrish Bazar, in Tajrish square in the northern part of Tehran. it comes to classic Iranian shopping experiences, Tajrish bazar including food market, green groceries, different bakeries and tasting many Iranian pickles and variety of nuts (such as pistachio), dates and Iranian pastries, a few fresh Culinary Essentials and spices (such as saffron) and tea, unique to this part of the world. browsing the food stalls at this photogenic bazar in upmarket Tajrish pretty much nails it.

Next stop in city center is Carpet museum, which has some of the most beautiful and world famous fine Hand-weaved Persian Carpets.

Transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport for the flight back home with a full pack of unforgettable moments and marvelous photos to share with your family and friends.
